What is business automation?
Business automation is the automation of recurring business processes with software. Data is captured once and flows automatically between systems such as ERP, CRM and Microsoft 365. With AI agents, you can now also automate processes that involve unstructured information such as emails, PDFs or voice notes.
How do AI agents differ from classic RPA?
Classic RPA (robotic process automation) follows rigid rules and clicks through user interfaces. If a form changes, the process breaks. AI agents understand content, handle variations, make decisions within clearly defined limits and ask a person when they are unsure. Where it makes sense, we combine them with classic workflows and interfaces.
Where is my data hosted?
The Workframe Platform is developed and hosted in Switzerland. By default it is built on Microsoft 365, so your existing identities, permissions and security policies apply. It can also be hosted without Microsoft 365, which means it is not tied to any particular data location. Every action an agent takes is logged and traceable.
Do I need Microsoft 365?
No. By default, the platform is designed for companies that work with Microsoft 365, as many Swiss SMEs already do. However, we can also offer it without Microsoft 365. Systems outside the Microsoft world, such as ERP, CRM, machines or databases, are connected via connectors, APIs or an on-premises gateway. We clarify whether your environment fits in a free initial consultation.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on the process and the systems involved. We deliberately start small, with a clearly scoped process that delivers value quickly. That way a first agent is often productive within a few weeks. Larger projects, such as replacing an Access solution, are delivered step by step over a few months.
Do I stay in control of the AI?
Yes. You decide what an agent may do on its own and where it needs approval. Open decisions are collected under “Needs you”. In the monitoring view you see every run, the success rate, and the time and money saved.
